Yoshihiro Kurosaki

Yoshihiro Kurosaki (黒崎義裕) is the new right-hand man of Kazutaka Hyōdō and the best candidate for succeeding him.

He is seen watching over the underground labor camp and is the superior of Seiya Ichijō, who is his favored subordinate.

He appears in the spinoff called Chūkan Kanriroku Tonegawa.

Yoshihiro is shown to be a calm, reasonable, and cautious man. He promotes the idea of fairness between people, which is shown when he agrees with Kaiji Itō when he was able to trick Tarō Ōtsuki back after Otsuki tricks him to work for half-pay in a rigged game of Chinchiro.

It is shown that he wants his employees to take responsibility for their actions.

Even though he is the new right-hand man of Kazutaka Hyōdō, he doesn't have a superiority complex like Yukio Tonegawa. It is shown that he believes people who have superior views of their own abilities are foolish and reckless.

He seems to fairly judge people based on their actions and personality, which is shown when he compliments Kaiji's abilities to win in high risk gambles but thinks Kaiji is reckless for thinking he can pay his debts through gambling.

History

Tobaku Hakairoku Kaiji

Yoshihiro has served in Teiai Corporation for years and is a friend of Kazutaka. He was promoted to the position of second-in-command of Teiai Group one year after Kaiji defeats Yukio Tonegawa; replacing Yukio's faction as the dominant faction.

Yoshihiro seems to be more friendly than Yukio as he praised Tarō Ōtsuki for his Chinchiro rules but states that because Taro failed to think of a worst case scenario this caused him to be defeated. He also promotes fairness, such as refusing to let Taro back out of his bet, rather than threatening people.

Yoshihiro appears to be in charge of the underground labor camp where Kaiji is sent and resides nearby. This was demonstrated when he was shown watching Kaiji gambling with Taro at Chinchiro but was able to travel to the labor camp and arrive after Taro got his safe.

He is briefly seen later warning Seiya Ichijō to not underestimate Kaiji when he learns that Kaiji is attempting to challenge The Bog.

Tobaku Datenroku Kaiji: 24-Oku Dasshutsu-Hen

It is shown that he is the one who orders Yūji Endō to find and retrieve the missing money Kaiji won from playing One Poker.

He takes Yūji on a camping trip to cheer him up after he fails to capture Kaiji.

He reveals to Yūji that he deeply fears Kazutaka and has strained relationship with his family.

Chūkan Kanriroku Tonegawa

Yoshihiro is able to interact quite freely with the the chairman, much to Yukio's frustration. While Yukio usually feels compelled to agree with Kazutaka to avoid his anger, Yoshihiro often negates him instead with his usual calm air of confidence and at no repercussion.

Although he maintains a friendly demeanor with Kazutaka, he does not hesitate to slap or hit Kazutaka's body double, Masayan.

Yoshihiro is later shown to be a natural at Mahjong, defeating Yukio four times in a row.
